Language Transcription and Translation Policy

Scope and Application
This policy applies to all users of Chat by Storyboard on Android. iOS and on the web. It outlines our practices and procedures related to language transcription and translation services.
Supported Languages
We are proud to support transcription services for 57 languages and translation services for an additional 8 languages. The list of supported languages is subject to change and may be updated from time to time.
Transcription of audio to text in original language and into English is supported for the following 57 languages:
Afrikaans, Arabic, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Belarusian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Kazakh, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Marathi, Maori, Nepali, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese, and Welsh.
In addition, the following languages and dialects offer two-way translation between languages:
- English
- Spanish (Mexico)
- Spanish (Spain)
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Filipino
- French (France)
- French (Canada)
- Traditional Chinese
Transcription and Translation Models
Our app uses a combination of proprietary transcription and translation models to provide the highest quality translations possible. These models are designed to understand and interpret a wide range of languages and dialects, and to convert spoken language into written text and vice versa.
Accuracy of Transcriptions and Translations
While we strive to provide accurate and high-quality transcriptions and translations, there are many factors that can affect the accuracy of these services. These factors include, but are not limited to, the speaker's dialect, background noise, context clues, and other linguistic nuances.
Due to these factors, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in our transcriptions and translations. Users should be aware that there may be errors or inaccuracies in the transcriptions and translations provided by our app.
Liability for Errors
We are not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in the transcriptions or translations provided by our app. Users are advised to use our services with caution and to verify the accuracy of any critical information independently.
User Responsibility
Users are responsible for understanding and accepting the limitations of our transcription and translation services. By using our app, users agree to this policy and accept that they use our transcription and translation services at their own risk.
Changes to this Policy
